It's been awhile since my last posting... but we've been busy.

Yes, busy at Disney World. For Christmas we gave the kids a gift, of a trip to the World. We were gone from Jan8-17 and missed most of the -50 degree weather here at home. HA!!

This picture was taken by the professional Disney photographer. I didn't realize how horrible the photo was till we got home. So bummed about this shot.

And heres the one that I took. With the exact same camera as above and at almost the exact same time. Can you tell I'm hostile about the previous shot? Grrrr.... No pretty family pic in front of the castle.

Well, I'm sure I will be posting many picture in the upcoming weeks. Although, it is so difficult being home. I like vaca mode. Hope your New Years are going well.

I love Christmas music! I usually start listening right after Halloween. So I am just listening to Christmas music while I'm typing and thinking of all my little blessings. Little 'noisy' blessings that is Sophie has the morning off from school and WOW... it sure is noisy in here when she's home. (I've forgotten)

AND TGIF too, YAY!! Although... my thoughts are going to tommorrow, when I have my salsa dancing class. I've started salsa dancing excersice classes every Saturday, and boy they sure kick my butt. I can't even remember the last time I've excersice. We just don't like each other too much. But this class was a more 'fun' way of doing it. So here to another day of pain (tommorrow)!!

Decemeber. Amazing... time just flies by. I just looked at Sophie's school calendar this morning, and I realized she only has three weeks until Christmas break. Then, she has TWO WEEKS off from school!! YES, TWO WEEKS. Where was that when we went to school?? I think we only got a week.

I am packing up and heading out! It is Hunting season in Wisconsin, so Aaron is heading up to the hunting shack. Which I'm sure they do more drinking than hunting, but a little guy bonding time never hurts, eh? And I and the kids are heading to my mom and dad's for the next 1 1/2weeks. It should be fun relaxing with my fmaily and I am looking forward to seeing relatives for Thanksgiving. Of course, shopping will be high on my list too! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

My gramma (my kids' great gramma) is the BEST storyteller... she always uses stuffed animals and acts them out. It was my most FAVORITE thing about when she was coming to visit... I am so happy my kids get to hear these too.

I am motivated for fall cleaning before we are cooped up for the winter... and boy is my house dusty. YUCK! Granted, I don't really ever dust (except for like 2 times a year). How to share photos...

People are asking me all the time for little tips and tricks of what I do. This one is a little different, but I SO could not live with out this...

I LOVE digital cameras!! It makes it SO easy to share copies of pictures with grandparents and other family and friends! And I'm not talking about the low resolution copies send on email or uploaded to a photo company. I like them to be able to do want the want to the pictures or be able to print where they want to.

How do you do this... so simple. There is a company called 4share. Which is FREE, and able to upload zipped files for others to download FULL resulotion files. If you want to check it out just click the button below.

Booked our vacation!!

Finally, finally... we are planning our first vacation!! (without other family members that is) :) We booked a great vaca to Walt Disney World for Jan '09 and we are planning on surprise the kids at Christmas time. OH, SO excited!!! Can wait to see the kids faces as they soak in all of the "magic of Disney" Only 4 1/2 more months now.

We just got back from Wisconsin visiting with Aaron's family. It was very good times. We spent time at the lake, boating and swimming. The kids had LOTS of 4-wheel riding with Grandpa Red. They were very sad to go.

Summer Almost Over...

I can't believe that summer is almost over. One more week until BOTH Sophie and Gabe start school. What am I going to do. Boo hoo.... Well, it might be nice right away to have a little time to myself; but I'm sure that will get old fast. Well, I am going to get one go field trip in next week with them before school starts...what should I do?

Been sick...

Most of you know that I've been sick for while now... about 3 1/2weeks now. Yep, still have that crazy tiredness and hacking cough. I just can't seem to get over this. Went to the doctor AGAIN they gave me stronger meds, an inhaler and I got to sit in LABS for over an hour to take a chest xray that I never got too (I eventually had to leave to get Sophie to an appt) Anyways, here are a few layouts I've done over the past few days (in between coughing). Good thing they aren't paper layouts! HA!

I just LOVE my family. Sometimes I just need to say it outloud! We had the BEST time yesterday at Valleyfair, and the kids were SO delightful! They had no meltdowns, no moments of tiredness...they just plain old enjoyed themselves, which in turn makes me enjoy them ALL the more!

I am so excited! I have been begging Aaron to go to Valleyfair for the last two years! He broke down and got me tickets for my birthday... so we are heading there tommorrow!! YAY! Can't wait! Now it totally better be 85 and sunny!

Ready 2 Learn? Lets make pictures better...

I always thought you have to take AMAZING pictures to be a good photographer. And although my photography skills are not that bad, PHOTOSHOP is an absolute dream! It is SO easy to make horribly dark pictures better. Almost all of them, including the ones that my hubbie, Aaron takes. HA! Here is an example of one that was rescued:

Open your picture. Then make a duplicate copy in your layers palette by right clicking on the layer of the photo, then select, duplicate layer. Then choose the top layer of the photo and move up to the scroll down, select SCREEN. Do this once or twice till your photo is amazingly lightened. Then continue with your color correcting. EASY, right?

Believe me ALL of them were pretty terrible. Pretty cute, huh

OK, not really. But it feels like it. Just get a few pages done in the last couple days and organizing some photos.

The new addition in our house... a piano!! $100 baby! Sophie is SO thrilled!

Over 4th of July, Gabe's friend (who is 5) started riding his 2-Wheeler with out training wheels. Well he had to do it too. He did SO wonderful. In about 5 minutes he was off on his own. Big Boy!

Trying to get back in the swing of things since being back. It still seems crazy though. I started shopping for fall clothes for the kids and we registered Sophie for school today. A 1'ST GRADER!! Ahh, so weird.

Things have been busy scrapping of course. There is a grand re-opening at ScrapMatters. So this week will be a crazy scrapping week. Which is good, more pictures done and stored away!

I have to tell the story behind this one: We just got up north and we were walking on the shoreline. DH and the kids were picking stones to 'skip rocks'. Well my DD slipped on the slippery rocks and fell in. She was SO upset that she thought she was bad and ran off... After I calmed her down and told her it was an accident I decide since she was wet already, her and her brother might as well go swimming. So I know this is going to forever be a cherished memory. I'm BACK!!

We are offically back! I bet you missed me right? Woow, what a week. I have been sick for the last 2 weeks now, not always the best time to take a vacation but alas that is what was planned. We spent the last week and gramma and papa's, playing with our cousins, and a couple trips up north as well.

Heres a pic for ya, we had our first family bowling night on this last rainy Friday night. OMG the kids LOVED it! Gabe asked tonight, if tomorrow we could go bowling. HA HA That would be the life to go bowling every day!

Here is a collage of pics from our 4th of July Kids Weekend that I put together at the resort up north. 2'nd Annual!! Yes, this is the 2'nd year we did this and hopefully we will continue. Ah, it was SO awesome!!! The kids had a blast... we had a bounce house, golf game, balloon pop game, face painting, parade!! How much more fun can you get?!?

New Mini-Van and ANOTHER Vaca!!

So, it's time to trade in our old mini-van for a new one. Our last one we got when Gabe was 1 week old, and is also now 4 years old. So Aaron is going now to pick up a shiny new one. ANOTHER VACA!! Yep, I am taking the kids and going up north for another week. Probably a bad week beacuse there is so much FUN stuff going on this and next week. Anyways, I will be leaving tomorrow and coming back on Aug 10

OK, I guess I can't really stop it from happening. But as of tomorrow, I won't be in my twenties any longer. We are having a big family reunion and can't wait to see everyone. The family is just getting huge with everyone having babies and children! My grandparents have flown in the AZ. It should be a nice weekend. Hopefully everyone will have forgotten a certain someone's birthday. Man, this could be embarrassing...

Here's a picture of my poor little man. He took a nasty digger on his bike yesterday. You cant see in the picture but the side is entirely purple and his eye is swollen almost shut. (He has been riding a two-wheeler since 4th of July wkend)

WORKING ON PHOTOBOOK
It may be a few days before I post new layouts. Right now I am working on uploading ALL of my work to http://www.mypictales.com I am hoping that this is going to be the photobook for me. These book are similar to Shutterfly. They do Custom Covers AND 10" x10" books. Anyone that scraps know that usually, the choices are 8 x 8 (which is too small) or 12 x 12 (which is too big). So I am excited. However, you do hav eto do your pages with a bleed margin. So lucky me is going back on ALL of the layouts that I've done to change this. Only 200 or so layouts, no big deal!

The kids and I had a great trip to Amber and Ashok's house. We love seeing them. Here is a picture of my little baby-sitter. Sophie was busy looking after Aisiah "Sammy". She loved comforting him when he cried, picking him up, putting him in the stroller and taking him for little walks. In Nepal, close cousins are similar to being called brother/sister & Amber and Ashok assure Sophie that she is the boys "sister". So one evening Sophie told Uncle Darv exactly how she was related to them... "she was Archer and Aisaiah sister-in-law". Ha ha ha. Uncle Darv got a kick out of that one! I love how little minds think. I couldn't fit all my pictures here, but I'm sure I will be scrapping them soon.

I decided to take a spontaneous trip to visit Amber in La Crosse. Sophie, Gabe and I decided we miss Archer and Aisiah, yes and Amber and Ashok!! We are going to hit the County Fair, the beach, and take on a water park!! Lots of fun for a two day trip!! HA HA

Making a Pretty Blog

Starting a blog? First of all you need a blog site. www.blogger.com is a place to create one, they are free. There are basic instructions on how to make a simple page. For more decorative pages you will need basic knowledge of html, you can get mini "blog" kits at: Shabby Miss Jenn's Blog Packs , they give pretty good instructions on how to change backgrounds and such. This is what I did...then I just used my own papers & elements (I had listed at bottom) to create my own. Let me know if you have questions.

Just getting back from vacation means...yes, tons and tons of great photos! I will be busy scrapping over here for quite some time. Like I ever catch up, Augh!

We're Back!

Whew... we are back from our vaca. It was so nice to do beach things and a whole lot of nothin'! It was sad to leave, but it is very nice to be home. The kids must think so too... because they both slept till 8am!! Big deal in this house where they are normally up at 6:30am. Huh, now back to the daily grind of things and ALOT of laundry. Oh yesterday I was interveiwed and spotlighted at one of my favorite scrapbooking websites, ScrapMatters. What an honor to be asked. OK, so we just spent this weekend up north with Aaron's brother, Adam. Such good times. I forgot to even bring the camera out. Man! AND at the end of this week its VACA baby! Aaron took off Friday and all of next week to sit and do nothing up north at the beach! Oh yeah!

Here is pictures from Fathers Day. We hooked up the sprinkler for the kids and they were SO excited that daddy kept running through with them!

Aaron and My 8th Anniversary

Today was Aaron and my 8th Anniversary, er I guess it was yesterday (as it's 12:52am)!!! Yes, still in love!!! Sigh... We took the kids and went paddleboating AND get this, our paddleboat was motorized. Talk about our kind of paddleboat. Ha Ha!

I decided that this may be the best way to share photos of my favorite people.. my family!! So I will update this site as time quickly passes by us. I started digitally scrapbooking on NSD(National Scrapbooking Day to all you non-scrappers), May 1'st so I'm pretty proud that I've caught up to speed on all this new technology. Why is my title sahlink?? Well, every user name that I've ever had has always been this... it seems just easier this way ya know?

Anyhoo, here are a few that have happened this last month or so! Lots of changes here in the family. We have a new FIRST GRADER and a boy of 4 YRS OLD in the house!!!
